Fuente Santa Thermal Baths

The authorities of La Palma in the Canary islands launched an international competition for the conception of a thermal spa in order to make use of the Fuente Santa springs, known for its healing properties, located at the South of the island, in a foothill by the Atlantic sea.

Considering the wild natural landscape and its predominance and importance in the area, the proposal tried to reduce its impact as much as possible, condensing all the program in a rectangle which works in 3 levels: the rooftop as a common pool for the complex, hence working as a reflection of the landscape, ground floor as reception and restaurant and the inferior level as the technical program of the thermal spa.
